My work focuses on non-naturalistic colour, line and mark and the ‘liminal space’. I use performative painting and literature as a catalyst to express personal emotions and experiences.

Influenced by German Expressionists, Fauvists and narrative-based artists such as Paula Rego, I use animals as figures to comment on the human condition and create a dream-space with reoccurring motifs. Paint and print making are vital to my practice, using these materials, my work encapsulates my experience of being a woman, internal struggles, and catharsis.
